2024 Highlights at Village Antiques & Art: A Year of Growth and Community Impact

This past year has been a transformative one for Village Antiques & Art, a business and program of RenewAll Inc. Located in the heart of Huntington’s historic Central City district, we’ve embraced growth, celebrated creativity, and proudly served our community as a hub for antiques, art, and local entrepreneurship.

A Year of Improvements and Expansion

As stewards of two historic buildings, we’re dedicated to preserving their charm while making them more sustainable. In 2024, both buildings received new roofs and solar panels, marking a significant step forward in our commitment to eco-friendly practices. Alongside these upgrades, we unveiled a refreshed name and logo to better reflect our evolution: “Village Antique Mall” is now “Village Antiques & Art.”

Welcoming New Faces and Talent

This year, six new small business dealers joined our thriving marketplace, bringing the total to an average of 45 curated booths and showcase spaces. From jewelry to vintage furniture, our dealers offer a diverse range of high-quality items and bring expertise that elevates every visit.

We also added two fantastic sales associates, Abby Sowards and Lex McGlone, to our team. Their dedication to customer service has helped us foster an ever-growing customer base, including loyal locals, new visitors, and travelers discovering the treasures of Central City.

Hosting Memorable Events

In 2024, our grounds became a vibrant gathering space for creativity and community. We hosted four lively Makers Fairs, the much-loved annual “Gigantic Yard Sale,” and an evening workshop and performance called Letters by artist Caleb Flood and Marshall University Professor Tacie Jones. These events brought people together to celebrate art, antiques, and the unique charm of our neighborhood.

A Positive Impact on Central City

As a long-standing part of the Central City historic district, we take pride in contributing to the area’s revitalization. This year, we witnessed incredible progress and were honored to play a role in enhancing our beloved 14th Street West.

Looking Ahead to 2025

The coming year promises even more growth and exciting opportunities. We’re planning additional Makers Fairs, workshops, art walks, and new ways to showcase repurposed ideas, antiques, and local art. We look forward to continuing our mission of supporting small businesses and fostering a sense of community in Central City.

Thank you for being part of our journey in 2024. We can’t wait to share more unforgettable moments with you in 2025 at Village Antiques & Art!
